Grief: How Bad Are You Hurting?

Grief is a natural emotion that accompanies hurt and loss. Sadness, denial, guilt, physical discomfort and sleeplessness are some of the symptoms of grief. Grief is a hurt that must be healed. We experience our grief and heal the hurt in our own unique way, although the grieving process may be similar for most people. Emotional wounds, like physical wounds, require time and attention to heal. When we neglect to heal our emotional wounds, we may get stuck in our grief, turning our hurt and sadness into depression or anger. This test will help you gauge what stage or level of healing you are currently going through in the grieving process.
