This course will discuss the potential destructive effect of various kinds of abuse, and how to lessen that destructiveness with knowledge and treatment. You will learn how to define child abuse and what to do if your child discloses abuse; you will learn the definitions, effects, treatment options and the prevention of emotional, physical, and sexual abuse.
