Codependency and addiction often travel hand-in-hand. In the home where substances are being abused, where does codependency end and caring begin? How best can one maintain their sanity and health, while wanting to act in the best interest of the family member who struggles with addiction? This course focuses on caregivers who have children or other loved ones who are struggling with addiction. Codependency and its symptoms are defined, and methods are suggested on how to recognize and change codependent patterns and behavior. Recovery and relapse recognition and avoidance are also explored.
